- Seattle (for applicants to Seattle, WY, MT, ID): rolling basis throughout the application cycle. Generally on weekdays between 11:30AM-1:30PM (on-campus or by Skype).
Is it necessary to send AFERM my med school application? Who will have access to it?
While it’s not necessary, we strongly recommend you send your primary and secondary (UW-specific) applications so we can best simulate the real interview. Alternatively, you may choose to share part of your application; for instance, some applicants send us only their personal statement and activities descriptions. The AFERM Student Leadership (up to 5 current medical students) have access to the inbox to which your application is sent. Your application is then shared with your mock interviewers (1- 3 med students and/or faculty).
What should I wear for my mock interview?
Dressing up formally is optional but you may choose dress up to simulate the real UWSOM interview. It’s helpful to practice in the outfit you plan to wear on interview day.
